The Legacy of Gram Parsons and Its Influence on The Old 97's
Gram Parsons, a pivotal figure in the evolution of American music, is celebrated for his contributions that shaped genres like country-rock and progressive country. His collaborations with artists such as Emmylou Harris and The Byrds, along with his influence on iconic bands like the Rolling Stones, solidified his status as a musical innovator. Parsons' unique style, which he termed "Cosmic American Music," resonates through the works of contemporary artists, including The Old 97's, who draw inspiration from his groundbreaking approach.
In honor of Parsons' enduring legacy, a tribute concert will feature various performers interpreting his music. This event highlights the impact of Parsons on the music scene and showcases how his spirit continues to inspire modern musicians. As The Old 97's embody elements of Parsons' style in their own work, they contribute to the ongoing narrative of American music that he helped to define.

Texas Club Customers Reviews
Easton was ok....venue was horrible!!!
Easton Corbin put on a decent show...didn't go on until well after 9pm and was only on until about 10:30, was a little disappointed for how far I traveled. Other than that, the venue was absolutely HORRIBLE! Each section was flat, meaning no elevation with seats in section in front of you. I had, which seemed like the tallest people in the world in front of me. I saw about 10 percent of the performer and my gf saw about 20 percent only bc I switched seats with her. I was very disappointed just to turn around and go home right after the concert. I spent more time driving than I did at the show only to see very little of the person I came to see.
EPIC
I have been an Easton fan since he released his first album in 2010. Easton's voice is so real, so authentic and so genuine that he epitomizes what country music should sound like! Much of what we (sadly) no longer hear today based on new artists who like to call themselves "country" when they are not, but just trying to find a category to fit into. I can only say Easton has "the sound" and he is also the most kindest, energetic, loyal to his fans, funny and very down to earth person you will ever meet. He is, what I like to say, "one of us" just with a platform. If you have never been to an Easton Corbin concert you are missing out on a truly memorable evening with a great singer. GO SEE HIM! Easton, YOU ARE THE BEST and I am looking forward to your next show in Reno, NV.
